When I was five years old, I made myself into a superhero: Super Suit. He wore a bathing suit, goggles, a towel as a cape, and nothing else. His superpower was...swimming, I guess?
Today, thousands of DoSomething members are creating their own original superheroes to (super)empower students from underrepresented groups to pursue STEM. Meanwhile, I made up a superhero so I could basically avoid ever wearing a shirt. Long live Super Suit.
